Story concerts in Chinatown, Evanston

JustStories 8th annual Chicagoland Story Festival features Nancy Wang , founder of Eth-Noh-Tec, an Asian-American “kinetic story theater” in San Francisco, along with Robert Jones of Detroit, who blends stories and music in Roots to Rap.

JustStories, founded by Susan O’Halloran, focuses on stories of ethnic identity, immigration and race relations “to honor our unique cultures and celebrate our diversity and common humanity.”

Two story concerts will take place on Saturday, April 17 – at St. Therese Chinese Catholic School 247 W. 23rd, at 1 p.m., and at The Space, 1245 Chicago Ave., Evanston, at 7:30 p.m.
