The AbilityLinks staff provides ongoing support to website users including job seekers, companies, and schools and non-profit organizations that assist disabled individuals with preparing for and finding work.

ACCION Chicago is a non profit alternative lending organization dedicated to providing credit and other business services to small business owners who do not have access to traditional sources of financing. By encouraging the economic self-reliance of microentrepreneurs throughout the Chicagoland area, ACCION Chicago strives to help businesses and communities grow.
Many of our clients do not have access to traditional bank loans. The small size of their loan request, lack of or poor credit history, may make them ineligible for conventional financing and unable to obtain the credit they need to grow their businesses. ACCION Chicago provides this credit and helps small business owners increase their incomes, create new jobs and strengthen their communities.

The organization was founded in 1961 to "ease the burden and find a cure" for Parkinson's disease. The national offices are headquarterd in New York,with regional offices throughout the country. The American Parkinson Disease Asociation focuses on research, patient services, education and raising public awareness about the disease.
