Gads Hill Center
Gads Hill, a family resource center established in 1898 partners with our community to develop the assets of children, youth, adults, and families. In collaboration with the members of our community and other organizations, Gads Hill Center develops programs that support and empower the economically and educationally disadvantaged residents of Chicago's Pilsen, Little Village and North Lawndale neighborhoods. We put our mission into action through an array of services that are of high quality, flexible, responsive, and culturally sensitive: Early Childhood Education, School Aged Children's Educational Support and Recreation, Teen tutoring, mentoring and educational planning, Parental education, and Adult Basic Education

Garden Center Services
Founded by parents in 1956, Garden Center Services serves 150 adults with autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental disabilities through vocational day programs, supported employment programs, 9 group homes and 2 intermediate care facilities. Headquartered in Burbank, IL, the agency employs 155 direct support and administrative personnel to ensure adults with disabilities live full, meaningful lives.

Genesis House
Genesis House offers hope to women who are trying to rebuild their lives after years of abuse, violence, and victimization in a lifestyle of prostitution. Genesis House provides the following services to women in prostitution: peer outreach, crisis intervention, case management, individual and group counseling, criminal justice support, wellness promotion, harm reduction education, and residential rehabilitation.

Gilda's Club Chicago provides a free program of social, emotional and informational support for men, women and children diagnosed with any type or stage of cancer, and family members and friends.

Girl Scouts of South Cook County
We provide fun and informative Girl Scout programs in 49 south suburban communities of Chicago. Girl Scouting builds girls of confidence, courage and character who give back by making the world a better place. Our membership is a diverse amalgam of girls 5 to 17 years old, plus a volunteer corps of adults committed to helping girls grow strong through Girl Scouting.

Girl's Best Firend Foundation
Girl's Best Friend Foundation promotes and protects the human rights of girls in Illinois by advancing and sustaining policies and programs that ensure girls' self-determination, power, and well-being. GBF makes grants to organizations that challenge the status quo by offering alternatives to the societal messages that girls receive.

Girls in the Game
Girls in the Game, founded in Chicago in 1995, provides and promotes sports and fitness opportunities, nutrition and health education and leadership development to enhance the overall health and well being of ALL girls. Its two-fold purpose is to: 1) ensure that quality fitness, health and leadership programming is made available to girls, and 2) reduce the barriers that young girls face in accessing such programs.

Public/private initiative to promoting giving and volunteering in DuPage County.

Global Girls
Global Girls uses the performing arts to teach communication, leadership and life skills to girls 8 to 14. The girls develop and stage productions that give voice to their issues and concerns. They are currently touring It's My Decision, a violence prevention show. For details call 773 374-5009.

God's Gang
God’s Gang – Founded by Carolyn Thomas in 1983 in the Robert Taylor Public Housing Project in Chicago, Illinois to promote self-esteem and opportunities for personal growth for youth through sustainable agriculture projects and initiatives. God’s Gang is a volunteer operated organization. God’s Gang provides urban agriculture training, mentoring, tutoring, performance arts, cultural awareness programs and activities. God’s Gang has evolved from a breakfast program to identifying resources for the development, management, and care of community gardening ventures, vermiculture and aquaculture farms. The organization supports a variety of activities that enable youth and adults to choose a life of self-help at the same time they contribute to strengthening their community. The youth are engaged in urban agricultural and landscaping activities, as well as African dance and crafts.
