Hinsdale Center for the Arts is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), regional arts center and local arts agency serving west suburban Chicago including DuPage and western Cook counties. HCA provides a wide range of high quality visual, literary and performing arts programs including exhibitions, classes, lessons, workshops, festivals, outreach programs, technical assistance to arts organizations and artists and regranting programs. HCA was designated in 1996 as an Established Regional Arts Institution by the Illinois Arts Council. The mission of Hinsdale Center for the Arts is to educate, encourage and facilitate participation in the arts. HCA believes that the arts are to be celebrated and shared, thereby enriching individual and community life.

Holy Trinity High School
Holy Trinity is a Catholic, co-educational high school serving low-income, at-risk youth from across Chicago, recognizing the unique spirit of all students and challenging them to realize their full potential. Our students are survivors of some of the most challenging communities in the city. About 80 percent live below the federal poverty line. About 95 percent qualify for academic scholarships and financial assistance. Since 2006, 100 percent of our graduates have been accepted into college.

Hooked on Drums brings the upbeat, inspiring rhythms of West African djembe drumming to kids in urban Chicago. We offer classes and youth drum performances through parks, local schools and community organizations. We are deeply committed to teaching African music as a vehicle for fostering creativity, curiosity, discipline, self-confidence and well-being in youth—above all, inner-city, at-risk youth.
Hope for Vision
Hope for Vision (HFV), Greater Chicago Community -- Founded in 2005, HFV has raised millions of dollars for the development of treatments and cures for blinding diseases, with particular focus on retinal degeneration. HFV distributes over 95 percent of the funds it raises to innovative researchers at leading American medical institutions, who employ a broad range of approaches to cures and treatments -- from nanotechnology to gene therapy, to retinal transplantation.

Since its inception in 1939, the Hyde Park Art Center’s mission has been to stimulate and sustain the vitality of the visual arts in Chicago. To fulfill this mission, the Center actively pursues arts mentorship within the community it serves, fostering a collective spirit among artists, teachers and students, children and families, collectors, and the general public. It is the oldest alternative exhibition space in Chicago, presenting works by primarily Chicago-based artists, both emerging and established. At the same time, the Center offers educational programs in the visual arts for children and adults of diverse backgrounds, including an extensive outreach efforts in South Side communities.

The Hyde Park School of Dance (HPSD), founded in 1993, is a non-profit school providing top-notch training for students throughout Chicago’s south side. The School offers progressive training in classical ballet and modern, supplemented by jazz and hip hop, for students age 3 through adult. Committed to sharing dance with the community, HPSD offers a Scholarship Program for students with financial need, a year-round schedule of public performances, and an after-school program in public schools.
