FAITH BASED ORGANIZATION
Victory Gardens Theater
Victory Gardens Theater, home to more world premiere mainstage productions since 1974 than any other Chicago theater, has remained true to an undeniably challenging mission - developing and producing new plays, most of them world premieres, with an emphasis on Chicago writers and its own 12-member Playwrights Ensemble. It is this ongoing relationship with twelve living playwrights which helped the non-profit Victory Gardens receive the 2001 Tony Award for Regional Theatre, for "displaying a continuous level of artistic achievement contributing to the growth of theater nationally."

Visitation Scholarship Program
The Visitation Scholarship Program provides a comprehensive support system that enables Visitation School Graduates to live out their commitment to academic achievement and personal growth by attending Chicago and South Suburban Catholic High Schools.
The Visitation Scholarship Program challenges individuals towards excellence so that they are more capable of and more deeply committed to serving others.
Over the past sixteen years, the Visitation Scholarship Program (VSP) has given over 110 students the opportunity to pursue a quality high school education. It was founded in 1989 by Sr. Ellen Carroll, O.P., a Sinsinawa Dominican Sister, after seeing some of the graduates of Visitation School failing to reach their full potential at local public high schools. Sr. Ellen founded the VSP to give students from the Englewood neighborhood a chance to better their lives through education, in hopes they will improve the community.
