Nonprofit executives will meet for a day of workshops, panel discussions and networking at Nonprofit Day on December 1, cosponsored by the Donors Forum of Chicago, the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, and Citibank.

Topics to be covered include succession planning and fundraising trends and challenges. “With the diversity of nonprofits in Chicago, it’s critical for each organization to distinguish itself to potential funders,” notes Claudette Baker of the Donors Forum.

Speakers will include leaders of the local nonprofit sector including Alice Cottingham of the Girl’s Best Friend Foundation, Alene Valkanas of the Illinois Arts Alliance, and Toni Smith and Marcia Lipetz of the Executive Service Corps.

The event will take place Friday, December 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Citibank Center, 500 W. Madison; preregistration is required (312-578-0090).
